Welcome to Forged By The Light.  I'm a father, a husband, and a businessman. But more than any of those roles, I'm someone who has been shaped — sometimes broken and rebuilt — by the hand of God.

The name of this site, Forged by the Light, comes from my own journey. I've walked through seasons of hardship, loss, and spiritual struggle. In those dark places, I discovered something I didn't expect: the refining fire of the Lord isn't meant to harm or destroy us. It's intended to strengthen us, humble us, and draw us closer to Him.  Even to encourage and equip us for the next chapter in our journey.  It is hard to see in the moment, complicated to understand, and challenging to walk through, but ...

His light forges us.

That's what this site is about. These are personal reflections — honest, imperfect, still in process. I write about prayer, trials, faith, and the slow work of becoming who God made us to be. Not because I have it figured out, but because I've found that putting words to the journey helps me see His hand in it more clearly.
